P N C condemns the racist terror of an Israeli Knesset member towards mothers of prisoners and detainees

The Palestinian National Council (PNC) condemned the racist terrorism practiced by Israeli Knesset Member Aron Hazan directed at the mothers of prisoners and detainees and their families while they were visiting their children inside the Israeli prisons.

The Palestinian National Council said in a press release statement issued by its Chairman, Salim al-Za'noun, that this racist behavior and aggression is an expression of barbarism, fascism of the occupation and a terror of its government represented by the Likud party to which he belongs. The MP used the same transportation buses carrying families of prisoners in the occupied territories in 1948 and attacked passengers, practicing his sinister sadism towards unarmed Palestinian women and men while praising himself as a member of the Israeli Knesset.

The PNC confirmed that this crime and behavior, that is devoid of morals is extremism empowered by the arrogance of the aggression, mounts to war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Israeli occupation government against the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

The PNC confirmed that it would address the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Human Rights Committee in that the aggressor being a member of Knesset. This would be added to the file of racism that the Knesset will be held accountable for at the Inter-Parliamentary Union with the latest legislation that calls for executing prisoners and detainees.

On this occasion, the PNC pays tribute to the prisoners and detainees in the prisons of the Israeli occupation, and salutes the families of the prisoners for their steadfastness and patience and suffering they endure when visiting their families. He called on the International Red Cross to provide protection to the families of the prisoners and to secure them from being attacked, terrorized by criminal megalomaniac individuals

The PNC represents the supreme authority of the Palestinian people in all their places of residence. It sets PLO policies and plans to achieve the goals of the Palestinian people for self-determination, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and the return of refugees to their homes.After Al-Nakba (catastrophe) of 1948, the Arab Higher Committee for Palestine, headed by Haj Amin Al-Husseini, decided to call for the convening of a Palestine National Council which met in Gaza in 1October 1948, which was the first Palestinian legislative authority to be established in the Arab state of Palestine. The Council then formed an all-Palestine government headed by Hilmi Abdel Baqi, who represented Palestine in the league of Arab States.The first national conference was held inJerusalem on 28May -2June 1964. This first National Council had 422 members, declared the establishment of the PlO, which represents the leadership of the Palestinian Arab people. The most important of which is the Palestinian National Charter, the Statutes of the Organization and others, and Mr. Ahmad Al-Shukairy was elected Chairman of the PlO.
