In a statement issued today PNC asserted that the workers of Palestine are the most important solid and broad assets which founded the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). They are at the forefront of the strugglers at all levels, they are the ones who bear the policies of the Israeli occupation of racism, injustice and oppression that they are subjected to as a result, and they who have patience for the hardship of living but steadfast in their land.
PNC called upon the International Labor Organization (ILO), the trade unions and associations in the world to defend and protect the rights of Palestinian workers in accordance with the international covenants on international labor standards, whereby the Israeli occupation practices the most egregious violations of international law, international conventions and human rights covenants that guarantee the workers' rights and dignity.
