Fattouh briefs the Head of Palestinian Affairs at the US Embassy on the occupation practices that undermine the two-state solution

The Speaker of the Palestinian National Council (PNC), Rawhi Fattouh, briefed the head of the Palestinian Affairs Unit at the US Embassy, George Noll, about Israel's practices that undermine the two-state solution.
Upon receiving Nol in Ramallah, Fattouh presented to him the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, especially the unilateral Israeli practices that undermine the two-state solution.
Fattouh addressed the decision of the Palestinian Central Council at Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to suspend recognition of Israel, due to Israel’s practices for 30 years, and to end the Palestinian Authority’s commitment to all agreements with Israel, until it recognizes a Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Fattouh called on USA to implement its promises to reopen the American consulate in Jerusalem, and open the office of the PLO in Washington DC. Fattouh also called on the international community and the US administration to exert more efforts to pressure the occupying power (Israel) to force it to comply with the international will for peace, to stop settlement and ethnic cleansing in Jerusalem and all the governorates of the Palestinian homeland, and to return to the path of negotiations to end the occupation of the land of the State of Palestine.
